It’s been in my heart to share my spiritual writing for a long time. I pray that this space draw a community of believers intent to support, learn, and encourage each other. May it be a vehicle for building up the Mystical Body of Christ.
Running is a rich metaphor for reflecting on our lives as disciples. I’m hardly the first to adopt this metaphor and work with it as a playing field for our sacred imaginations. St. Paul pray for us…
We’re running to Christ. We’ll keep running deeper and deeper into the mystery of Jesus Christ. As Fr. Patrick at San Carlos Cathedral in Monterey reminded us on Sunday:
We need to keep running towards Goodness, Beauty, and Truth.
We have to run away from the domineering influences of dark principalities that seek to distort the blessings of this world.
May our Lord be pleased to use me and this blog site as an agency of His Grace in fueling our run to Him. Please see this as a place to interact with each other.
Be sure to check out the pictures and stories side of the website. Let’s make haste and run to the tomb… we have the Good News He is Risen and we will rise with Him. Alleluia!

Oh Father, Creator and Source of All,
We thank you for the gift of eternal life.

you ask us to tackle on our run to You.
Jesus, Shepherd of our Hearts,
Fill our innermost being with a passionate, earnest
desire to seek and know you above all things.
Have mercy on us!
Beautiful Spirit of God,
You are the wind at our back pushing us forward
with faith, wisdom, and grace on our run.
Holy Trinity,
Please bless this virtual community of faith. Be pleased
to use the things on this site to achieve your Holy, and
Perfect Will that animates all things with Endless Love.
May each person who visits this site
find something that speaks to them.
Open wider the portal of our hearts and spirits
to encounter your Holy, Living, and True Presence.
Inspire others to share their thoughts, pictures, and stories
to encourage and lift each other up.
